Chapter One, Their Sons, Beauty Without Measure

Therefore

The Master is very satisfied

The dark eyes resembled a night sky filled with countless stars. The moment Er Sheng's figure appeared in his sight, a flicker of doubt passed by, and a surge of killing intent erupted in an instant. Er Sheng was so startled by this sudden killing intent that his legs went weak, and he fell to the ground.

As if under a spell, Ersheng forgot to escape, forgot the "snake demon" he had just seen, and simply stared blankly at that man.

Beauty knows no bounds

Suddenly, a fierce wind arose, sweeping away her dirty socks that had been thrown onto the rocks. She muttered a curse under her breath. Immediately afterward, the ground seemed to be struck by some enormous force, shaking violently, causing Ersheng to tumble down from the stone.

The girl, awakened by the loud laughter of the students, sensed that the situation was not in her favor. With a swift turn, she jumped down from the tree, nimbly leaping over two small mounds of earth. Turning back, she spat at the teacher, and then hurriedly ran away, disappearing from sight

Looking up, a girl of about twelve or thirteen years old is sprawled on a tree branch like a cat, her limbs hanging limply down, her face pressed against the trunk, soundly asleep. A glistening liquid trickles from the slightly parted lips, sliding down the branch and dripping off.

"Monsters and demons, bah! If there are really monsters and demons, why don't they come out for me to see?" The only response was the rustling of the wind through the trees. Ersheng snorted, "The old folks in the village just know how to concoct stories to deceive people."

Er Sheng reacted quite quickly to the escape, getting up and turning to run. The man, seeing her attempt to flee, reached out and barely managed to grab her pants.

A gentle whisper had already disturbed the man. He slightly furrowed his brows, his eyelashes fluttered, and he opened his eyes

After watching the blood slowly disperse in the pond for a while, Ersheng lay back on the stone, gazing at the white clouds drifting across the blue sky.

As Dai Ersheng approached, he discovered that his surroundings were stained with numerous bloodstains, dyeing the surrounding plush flowers a deep crimson. Amidst this pure sea of flowers, a hint of enchanting beauty emerged.

Er Sheng suddenly clutched his chest: "Strange, it's beating so fast."

Covered in black armor, with two horns on its head, it has feet and five claws, fins on its back, and a body as thick as the trunk of a towering tree

The man spat and said, "Truly disgusting." He shrugged his shoulders and walked away

You go! The entire family of the old lady is in the ground, whether you want to go or not!

Er Sheng looked down upon the villagers' cowardice. She thought that by believing in ancient legends and supernatural beings, they would never know how beautiful it truly is here unless they ventured into this forest themselves

I mean no harm; I am a good person!" Ersheng immediately defended himself

Still no response

But since there are monsters, why haven't ghosts appeared yet? ... Why don't the spirits of my parents come here to wander around ...

A shadow swept across the sky, casting a fleeting shadow on her face. Ersheng sensitively opened her eyes. The sky was still the same sky, the clouds were still those few clouds. The gentle breeze continued to blow, the trees still rustled, nothing was different

She closed her eyes, swaying her legs in the water, gently rocking back and forth as she brewed a sense of drowsiness

"Old fool." Er Sheng kicked a stone underfoot, muttering as he walked, "Is it something impressive to be a bit shabby? Is it impressive to tell stories? I couldn't care less about your stories." Frustrated, Er Sheng kicked a stone hard, and a sharp pain immediately shot through his toe. Before he could cry out in pain, a loud shout came from below the field ridge.

Demon Snake

Er Sheng thought it was not good, and disregarding the pain in her feet, she ran away. The man working in the fields below the ridge had already seen Er Sheng and shouted angrily: "It's you again, you little bastard! A dog cub born of a mother but not raised by one!"

Oh dear

Er Sheng sat on a stone by the pond, took off her shoes, and casually threw her dirty socks aside. She examined her toes for a while; the nail of her big toe had already been flipped up, and it had bled quite a bit while running. Gritting her teeth, she endured the pain and forcibly pulled off the flipped toenail. Blood flowed out, and Er Sheng soaked her foot in the icy pond water, muttering to herself: "Daring to disgust me! Tonight, I will go to your backyard and leave a few piles of dung, smearing them on your vegetable basket, just to make you sick to death."

Once they had run a bit farther away, Ersheng estimated that the man would not be able to catch up with him for the time being. He patted his backside and made a face in return, saying: "None of your business! You big turtle that got beaten by a little turtle!"

No response

Struggling to crawl out from behind the rock, she suddenly heard a terrifying animal cry that was deep and resonant, causing her chest to ache painfully and forcing her to spit out a mouthful of blood. Her mind was in a daze as she looked with bloodshot eyes towards the source of the sound

Ah. The student, Xiao Pang, gazed blankly at the sturdy branches above the Master, "Master, Er Sheng."

This phrase is highly offensive and derogatory in nature, typically used as an insult. It is not appropriate for formal or respectful communication.

The man did not listen to her explanation; with a swift motion of his long arm, he made as if to choke her by the neck

At the right moment, the sun is warm and the sky is clear.

Right in the eyes of the Master

Outside the Three Realms, there lies the Wantianshi Ruins above, and below is the Infinite Desolate City. Both are desolate lands devoid of sun and moon, and lifeless beings. There is no entrance or exit. Unlike the Infinite Desolate City, which confines the most heinous criminals, the Wantianshi Ruins are even more lonely and silent; it is the place where dragons are imprisoned

In the distance, a massive towering tree sheds its leaves. A bloodied man in a black robe leans quietly beneath the roots of the giant tree.

It turns out that monsters really do appear in the forest behind the village. Ersheng thought drowsily, amidst all the nonsense spoken by the old men in the village, there was actually one true statement.

The students burst into laughter. The teacher wiped his eyes, filled with rage, and rose up, intending to give Ersheng a good beating.

Er Sheng only felt a chill in her buttocks, as her pants were forcefully pulled down

A monstrous serpent demon, one after another

She curled her lip, secretly cursing herself for being paranoid

The master was so enraged that he jumped up and down, his beard standing on end. The students laughed even more joyfully.

Er Sheng pulled forward recklessly, both of them exerting their utmost strength at that moment

Captured the last dragon of this world

Er Sheng boldly spat towards the direction of the man and turned to run into the woods behind the village. The villagers, superstitious about the presence of monsters in the woods, did not dare to pursue him inside.

The deeper one ventures into the forest, the broader the view becomes. At the innermost part of the woods lies a deep, tranquil pool of water, which, devoid of any source or outlet, remains clear throughout the year. On calm, windless days, one can clearly see the remnants of fallen branches and logs at the bottom of the pool, their time of descent into the water unknown. Along the edge of the pool, nameless white flowers bloom in every season, fluffy and appearing quite charming.

The hiss of the serpent demon vanished after a single sound. However, Ersheng's tinnitus persisted for quite some time. Dazed, she sat up while holding the back of her head, and after a moment of daze, she suddenly remembered that she should be running towards the village; escaping was the priority.

The white fluffy flowers by the roadside grew more numerous as she walked, while the trees became increasingly sparse, and the distance seemed to transform into a vast sea of white flowers. Ersheng's dazed mind was entirely preoccupied with the single thought of escaping, paying no attention to whether the surrounding scenery was familiar to her.

A man stood outside the woods cursing loudly. A villager, unable to bear it any longer, advised him: "What are you arguing with a lonely girl for? That child is cursed by fate; her entire family has perished. Be careful when you interact with her"

His son is extraordinarily beautiful

That enormous black shadow projected a terrifying mark in her eyes that she would never forget in this lifetime. Ersheng opened her mouth wide, wishing she could pop her eyes out: "Demon... demon..."

She felt braver and reached out to tug at his sleeve

Damn it! Who threw the stone!

Er Sheng cautiously moved away from him. For some reason, there was an inexplicable aura about this man that frightened her. However, she had always been bold; the stranger the thing, the more she wanted to understand it, except for the monster she had just encountered. Bending down, Er Sheng hesitantly poked the man's elbow with her index finger.

Under the century-old tree at the village entrance, the old master is narrating stories from distant legends to his students. The blue sky, white clouds, gentle breeze, and the students listening attentively to the stories create a scene that is simple yet beautiful

Er Sheng, unaware of it, had already stumbled into the heart of the forest, clumsily moving about like a reckless mortal who had accidentally wandered into a fairyland, disturbing countless flying seeds that danced chaotically in his wake

Even though she was naturally bold, she was momentarily taken aback by the strange demonic wind and the peculiar tremors.

Er Sheng raised his middle finger at his back and let out a heavy snort. He then turned and walked deeper into the forest

Er Sheng crouched down and took two steps closer to him, leaning in to closely examine the man's features. His exquisite face was perfect, as if descended from the heavens. Er Sheng suddenly recalled a line from a poem that the old master had recited with his students, shaking their heads and swaying. At that time, she did not understand its meaning, but now she thought she might have a similar feeling.

The white flowers, the man in black, and the swirling petals falling all around him created an extraordinarily beautiful picture. It depicted that space as another world

A gentle breeze swept by, playfully lifting a few strands of velvet flowers and sticking them to her face. Her nose twitched slightly, and Ersheng was startled, suddenly remembering that she could not linger in the forest. Shaking her head to clear her mind, she looked around but did not see the "snake demon," and thus bravely ran towards that person

The man was thoroughly enraged, put down his farming tools, and chased after him, saying: "Just watch, I will take care of you today!"

Er Sheng experienced cardiac arrest, her eyes rolled back, her body stiffened, and she fell backward like a wooden plank, nearly fainting from fright. Originally, she could have fainted as she wished, but she happened to fall on a sharp stone, and the back of her head struck the rock. After a sharp pain, she regained a bit of consciousness.

Running up a small slope, Ersheng looked down from a high vantage point and was suddenly taken aback.

Unsteadily standing up, Ersheng was unsure whether she had neglected to put on her shoes or had completely forgotten to wear them. She stumbled in a general direction, her steps more unsteady and ethereal than those of a drunken man.

To repay a kindness... I shall dedicate myself in return.

Suddenly, a drop of slightly viscous liquid fell onto the face of the Master. The Master wiped it away without much concern, glanced at the distant sky, and saw no sign of rain whatsoever.

He must have been injured by the snake demon, she thought. If she saved him today, she would become his savior. Once she became his savior, he would be able to repay her kindness.
